A mixture of 1-Cbz piperazine (1 g, 4.55 mmol),2-bromo-2-methylpropionamide (751 mg, 4.55 mmol),potassium carbonate (942 mg, 6.83 mmol) and acetonitrile (10 mE) was stirred at 80¡ã C. overnight. The reaction mixture was filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel colunm chromatography to obtain 57-c (1.05 g, 76percent).
