General procedure: The solution of 8 (1 equiv) and substituted phenyl piperazine (1 equiv) in dry DMF (5 ml) was cooled to 0 C. The N-ethyl-N?-(dimethyaminopropyl)carbodimide hydrochloride (EDC¡¤HCl) (1 equiv), 1-hyroxybenzotriazole hydrate (HOBt¡¤H2O) (1 equiv) and DIPEA (2 equiv) were added and the resulting mixture stirred for 24 h at room temperature. H2O (40 ml) was added to reaction mass and extracted with ethylacetate (40 ml ¡Á 3). The combined organic layer was washed with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 solution (30 ml), brine (30 ml), dried over MgSO4 and concentrated to give crude mass which were purified on silica gel CC to afforded desired products 9a-j., 13754-38-6
